The big bad was in front of you the entire time, hiding in plain sight! Baba Yaga, the evil horror of Slavic folklore, weaves new challenges that will persist throughout all three Tanglewoods decks, resulting in a fierce final battle when at long last the exit to the Tanglewoods is found. Posing as lowly merchant, she may have seemed helpful, but the creatures she sends after you will pose difficult choices for you along the way. Each choice will ultimately make a consequential impact on your final battle.
The Baba Yaga campaign add-on allows you to play your three Tanglewoods decks in any order you choose! Experiment with different heroes, orders, and strategies to emerge from the Tanglewoods victorious!
This deck is juuuuust right! Tanglewoods: Gold centers around the story of Goldilocks and the three bears, and you'll need to defeat all three of the furry beasts on your route to victory.
In Tanglewoods: Gold, you will navigate a deck of map cards, matching the directions on your chosen map with a series of fable and enemy cards that will leave you with a dangerous active area if you're not careful. Beware of special Ambush cards that can take you by surprise and throw additional effects and enemies at you. Speed is paramount: the more times you make your way through the deck, the more nighttime cards will appear to menace your path!
Tanglewoods: Gold takes the classic 20 Strong risk, strategy and push-your-luck formula and cranks it to the max, creating a nail-biting game that will cause you to question your card draws along with your dice pools.
To grandmother's house we go! Navigate the Tanglewoods while avoiding the Big Bad Wolf's pack. Face off against the shifty denizens of the woods while you make your way to grandmother's house! Tanglewoods: Red features unique map mechanics inspired by the hit video and card game, Slay the Spire! Make smart choices as you choose your route and be careful not to travel too much at night, where tougher monsters await at most every stop!
20 Strong Board Game: Tanglewoods: Red Deck is also available as part of the 20 Strong Board Game: Tanglewoods: Core Box. If you already have a 20 Strong Core Set, then this product will allow you to get the Red Deck seperately.
This deck may be the fairest of them all... Tanglewoods: White captures the classic tale of Snow White, pitting the hero and her dwarf companions against an Evil Stepmother who has stranded her in the dangerous forest!
In this iteration of 20 Strong: Tanglewoods, you will move your character through a wooded grid that shifts and changes with every step you take. Your directional positioning and the order in which you defeat enemies is of paramount importance, as it affects the deadly modifiers you must bring into battle and also the arsenal of boss enemies you will face in your endgame. In Tanglewoods: White, you'll always be thinking ahead, whether it's to your next step or your final journey to the gates of your Stepmother's castle!
Encounters, backup plans and more await you in this Bonesian take on the mechanics of 20 Strong! In 20 Strong: Too Many Bones, you'll travel through a bite-sized TMB adventure, chucking dice and saving up misses in a miniature backup plan. You'll find the deck is stacked with a variety of tyrant encounters, but be careful about skipping them: Each one you don't complete makes the final tyrant even harder.
